Marcus Harris, Cameron White, Travis Dean, Will Pucovski/Handscomb, Seb Gotch, Matthew Short, Sam Harper, Peter Siddle, Chris Tremain, Scott Boland, Fawad Ahmed
Matthew Renshaw, Usman Khawaja, Joe Burns, Marnus Labuschagne, Jimmy Pierson, Ben Cutting, Jack Wildermuth, Michael Neser, Jason Floros, Mitchell Swepson, Brendon Doggett
FCG’s players to watch out for:
Neser : Didn’t had a good last game but expect him to bounce back today with atleast 2-3 wickets & if required, Neser is a handy batsman too.
Cutting: Just bowled 4 overs in the first game & bowled his full 10 in the second. No matter how many he bowls, he’ll make sure you don’t miss out on your fantasy points.
Short: As we said in the last game as well, he’s an underrated all-rounder who can be very handy with the bat when Victoria batting collapses. (Which we are quite sure, you’ll see in upcoming games).
A wicket & 30-35 runs are enough to give you an edge over your opponents.
Siddle & Tremain: Told you in the last game too, drop them only to increase your chances of losing specially Siddle.
There will be many occasions when Tremain can be wicketless but you’ll rarely see the same with Siddle. (Tremain can contribute with bat though)
It’s tough to leave Boland too, as he’s a quality bowler but haven’t got the results yet.
So you can choose one b/w Tremain & Boland.
Khawaja, Renshaw & Burns: Khawaja has failed in both the opening games but leaving him would be silly.
Burns is usually who’s quite consistent when he gets going & quite consistent with his single digit scores when he fails.
He’s enjoying a good time right now, so stick with both of them.
Renshaw on the other hand is beautiful to watch, both on the field & in your Fantasy team as well.
Seb Gotch: We feel Pierson might not get enough opportunities to bat as QUN’s batting looks more stable than Victoria’s.
So Gotch, Harper & Short all three can be useful down the order. Considering recent form you can go with Gotch as wk who has also done well for Stars in last Big Bash season.
Wildermuth: If you followed last big bash season, you should be aware of the fact why he shouldn’t be dropped.
The best part is, he’s been promoted up the order & bowling in death as well.
White: First of all, there’s no way you can leave him after that mammoth inning that he played in the last game.
But you can’t deny the fact that the same inning came after a series of long failures in recent time.
So pick him in the team but don’t blindly invest on White.
Captain’s picks: Neser, Cutting, Short, Khawaja
