Welcome to another series of the ‘T20 Carnival’,
RAM SLAM T20
While BPL has been quite unpredictable & few of the selections have been totally illogical by franchises, which has till now made BPL more of a luck oriented game than the one based on factual anaylsis & statistics.
The good thing is, if you are a smart fantasy gamer then this tournament will surely give you an edge over the ones who rely on guessing games, play a game or two & you’ll feel the difference.
Possible Bench: (Who’ll miss out from the above squad)
Warriors: Kelly Smuts (for sure), Harmer/Jonker (surely one), Nortje/Nqweni
Knights: Ntuli, Olivier/Gous
(If Gous misses, Keegan will keep & if Gous gets a game then Olivier/Lange has to sit)
The only thing that’s certain is, wherever you have checked the probable 11, it is 100% incorrect considering the Quota policy of CSA which majority of the gamers are unaware of.
Fantasycricketgeek’s players to watch out for:
Smuts: The ‘One Man Army’ in Domestic South African circuit.
One of those rare players who can score a 100 & take 5 wickets in the same game.
Though, he has a few ducks as well but he compensates that with wickets.
Ingram: Legend of the game & one of the most consistent batsman. Has a golden arm & always picks wickets with his leg spin when conditions are favourable to him.
McLaren: Hasn’t been at his best but a very utility all-rounder in T20 format.
Ackermann: The third pillar of Warriors team along with Smuts & Ingram. Can score 50(25) in T20’s & also has the ability to score 100(250) in tests. More than a useful part time off-spinner.
Van Schalkwyk: He’s not as quick as Steyn or Rabada but when it comes to effectiveness & wicket taking ability he’s not less than the bests in the tournament.
Can score runs down the order as well.
Birch: Best bowler of Warriors over the years & often used as a pinch hitter if they get a good start.
Wk: Gous (Only one option available)
Batsman: Keegan, Ingram, Bruyn/Miller
A/R: Smuts, Ackermann, McLaren.
Bowlers: Lange, Birch, Magala, Schalkwyk.
(You can consider Eddie too)
Smuts, Ingram, McLaren, Ackermann.
