Welcome back Fantasy Addicts,

Squads:

City Kaitak

Domestic Players:  Anshuman Rath, Aizaz Khan, Waqas Barkat, Jamie Atkinson, Manjinder Singh, Ishtiaq Muhammad, Umar Mohammad, Raag Kapur, Mudassar Hussain, Siegfried Wai, Kalhan Marc Challu

Hung Hom Jaguars

Overseas players: Darren Sammy (WI), Ben Laughlin (Aus), Riki Wessels (Eng), Johan Botha (RSA/Sydney Sixers), Roelof van der Merwe (Ned)

Domestic Players: Kinchit Shah (c), Nizakat Khan, Tanveer Ahmed, Adil Mehmood, Kyle Christie, Ninad Deveng Shah, Nadeem Ahmed, Scott Mckechnie, Damien Yee, Aarush Bhagwat, Rana Nasrulla

Important points to consider in HKT20:

1) All HKT20 games are to played on a very small ground (Doesn’t matter wherever they play, all grounds in HK are extremely small). So, plenty of runs are expected in every game. 180 should be par.

2) There are only 5 overseas players available with every team & all 5 will play.

3) All franchises have to include atleast one player from associate countries in their final 11.

Probable 11:

City Kaitak:

Coetzer, Atkinson (wk), Anshuman Rath, Bopara, Aizaz Khan, Waqas Barkat, Tanvir, Emrit, Raag Kapur, Muddasar, Manjinder/Wai

Jaguars:

Wessels, Kinchit Shah, Nizakat Khan, Sammy, Van Der Merwe, Botha,  Mckechnie, Laughlin, Nadeem, Tanveer, Kyle Christie

*There will not be any fixed batting order as teams can rotate their players & their positions in every game.

FCG’s players to watch out for:

Anshuman Rath: The next big thing for HK Cricket. After Nepal’s Sandeel Lamichaane, Anshuman can be the next Associate player to be picked in IPL in next few years. This Elegant leftie has been quite consistent & rarely fails with bat.

Bopara: First game for the English all-rounder in HKT20 Blitz. His slower balls will be his biggest asset in this competition after his hard hitting batting where he’s been quite successful in recently concluded BPL.

Van Der Merwe:  Van Der Merwe is quite an underrated all-rounder considering how impressive he has been in all three departments.

He’s been a key player for SA, Netherlands & Somerset over the years & Jaguars will be hoping he delivers the same for them.

Nadeem Ahmed: Short boundaries for a spinner are as bad as Sri Lankan team against India but Nadeem is HK’s best spinner & he knows how to bowl in these conditions more than anyone else.

And, the more he’ll be attacked more will be your  chances of getting those 10 points. (Wickets)

Aizaz Khan: He’s more of an all-rounder in T20 format who attacks from ball one & will bowl his 4 overs. Been out of touch in recent time but still not worth leaving.

Coetzer: Second appearance for him in HKT20 Blitz after a very successful last season & as usual expect him to score crucial runs at the top for Kaitak.

Experience & consistency at 9crs is a steal.

Wessels: The explosive opener from Notts will be the most important player not just for his franchise but also for the crowd, he’ll absolutely love these conditions & can smack any bowler out of the park

Consistency has always been his issue though.

Dream11 Team:

Wk: Atkinson/Scott

Batsman: Wessels, Coetzer , Kinchit/Barqat

All-rounders:  Rath, Merwe, Bopara

Bowlers: Aizaz/Badree, Nadeem, Laughlin, Emrit

Create your own team, Good Luck.

Note: Ben Laughlin was the only player who didn’t joined his team until this Article was written due to BBL final.

He has already left for HK & should play tomorrow but do confirm before deadline.
