IPL Match 34: KXIP Vs MI Match & Fantasy Preview:

Kings XI Punjab:

Probable11:

SKY, Lewis, Rohit, Ishan, Duminy, Hardik, Krunal, Cutting, McCLeneghan, Bumrah, Markande.

* Lewis is almost certain to play this game, took injections & also practised hard in the nets. Considering it’s a must win game for MI, he should be back.

*As we also discussed in the last preview, Cutting at 8 (just as a specialist batsman) is a waste & MI should have opted for Fizz.

Holkar is an extremely small ground where Fizz’s pace variations can be really effective.

But on the other hand, Cutting can be used as a pinch hitter to cover these small boundaries specially because of Pollard’s bad form.

So, picking any one of them is a difficult task for MI. Will not be surprised if MI opts for Fizz over McCLeneghan.

*Pollard has been terrible in this IPL & will make way for Lewis again.

*Rohit has a terrific record against KXIP & will be aiming to score a match winning knock today as well.

Kings XI Punjab:

Probable11:

Rahul, Gayle, Mayank, Nair, Finch/Miller/Stoinis, Tiwary, Ash, Tye, Sran/Mohit/Axar, Rajpoot, Mujeeb.

*After a week long break & vacations in Goa & Kerala, Punjab could have been rusty which can go in MI’s favor.

*Finch’s form continues to be a worry for Punjab, he’s been consistently backed by Ashwin & can be backed again.

If not, Miller is a straight swap. Stoinis was seen practicing hard in the nets but practicing in nets doesn’t guarantee you a place in eleven. Stoinis is a great pick considering the conditions but teams don’t tend to change their winning combination.

*Axar has been declared fit & can come into the eleven anytime, if KXIP want they can replace Sran with him.

But, playing 3 spinners in a tiny ground like Holkar is a huge risk which also makes a case for Mohit Sharma.

*Tiwary was finally included in the eleven in the last game but couldn’t read Rashid Khan at all. Tiwary is one of the best domestic middle order players available in the competition & is expected to get a longer run which he richly deserves.
(If team still wants to pick Yuvi, they can pick on Mayank’s expense)

*Ben Dwarshuis who hasn’t played a single game yet will come into the contention later in the tournament. Because KXIP has to play 5 games in 12 days, Ash can include him in the upcoming games to give one of their fast bowlers a break.

Dream11 Team:
Wk: Rahul
Batsman: Rohit (C), Gayle, Lewis/SKY, JP, Tiwary/Nair

All-rounders: Krunal

Bowlers: Tye, Bumrah, Mujeeb, McCLeneghan (A bit risky so you can also pick Hardik)

Good Luck.
