Sri Lanka: 1 Danushka Gunathilaka, 2 Dilshan Munaweera, 3 Upul Tharang , 4 Chamara Kapugedera, 5 Asela Gunaratne, 6 Kusal Perera, , 7 Thisara Perera, 8 Prasanna, 9 Lakshan Sandakan, 10 Nuwan Kulasekara 11 Lasith Malinga
1) SL will definitely go with right hand- left hand opening combination, So Munaweera will open & he could partner anyone from Tharanga, Guna & Kusal
Kusal & Gunathilika has high chances of opening.
*Kusal has passed his fitness test & is available for selection*
Bangladesh: Tamim Iqbal, 2 Soumya Sarkar, 3 Sabbir Rahman, 4 Mushfiqur Rahim (wk),5 Shakib Al Hasan, 6 Mosaddek Hossain, 7 Mahmudullah, 8 Mehedi Hasan, 9 Mashrafe Mortaza , 10 Mustafizur Rahman, 11 Taskin Ahmed
Tamim: Predicted him to fail in the last Odi but today again banking on his T20 skills, can give a flying start to the team & score good points for you.
Mahmudullah: Struggling badly for his from since BPL but T20’s suits his style of play & with so many left handers in SL team, he can be very useful with his off spin.
He or Mehdi Hasan can even open the bowling for Ban today.
Gunathilika: Terrible 2 first games, a decent start in the 3rd game & again threw his wicket but i expect him to perform well in atleast 1 out of these 2 T20’s.
His off spin is a bonus.
Munaweera: Quite familiar with the Bangladeshi bowlers & their tactics playing for BB in BPL & again a very handly bowler.
Malinga: 1 or 2 wickets in death gauranteed. Has picked at least 2 in every game that he plaued after his comeback.
Shakib & Mustafizur: No point of leaving them, specially in T20’s
Perera: One of the most inconsistent players, i don’t rate him highly but if SL team collapses, even his 30 can be useful. Gives 40 in 4 overs but takes 1 or 2 & nobody cares about the economy if you get wicket points.
SL has a terrible record at Premdasa losing 10/11 last fixtures. Rain is expected, if it rains & overs are reduced SL has a great chance due to power hitters otherwise BAN has an edge.
