ENG- Hales, Bairstow Root, Morgan, Stokes, Butler, Ali, Rashid, Plunkett, Ball, Wood
PAK- Azhar, Babar, Malik, Hafeez, Zaman, Sarfraz, Imad, Shadab/Ashraf, Amir, Junaid, Hasan
Root: He has hit a fifty against Pak 5/9 times (overall) & 3/5 times at home.
Hales: Gone for a duck in last game but has good record against Pak & whenever he gets a start he usually goes big.
Babar: Hasn’t shown his class yet but can be very effective in crucial game today.
Malik: The most consistent performer for Pak over the years after his comeback, has got decent starts in this champions trophy but couldn’t capitalize.
Not expecting him to disappoint again.
Ball, Plunkett, Wood: You can’t leave wicket taking bowlers against most unpredictable Pakistani batting line-up.
Better if you pick all three genuine seamers.
Sarfaraz: Expected him to be the match winner for Pakistan in last game & he proved his worth.
With Butler batting too low & Pakistani batsman’s unpredictable nature, he should be the most reliable batsman in their lineup.
In Roy’s absence, Ali or Bairstow can open the innings.
If Ali opens, he can be quite handy with the bat with fantasy points guaranteed.
