The last knockout game of the NatWest T20 Blast will see Surrey take on Warwickshire at Kia Oval. This is going to be another tight contest as the sides have just managed to sneak through to the quarterfinals of the tournament. Both sides will try to produce their best cricket as it is do-or-die game with winner takes all.
The side has been blowing hot and cold in the competition. They have beaten sides on their day when they got it wright but slumped to comfortable defeats in the next. Jason Roy and Aaron Finch are genuine match-winners for the side and are quite dangerous in the context that in a must-win game they can certainly come up trumps. Roy has done well as he went onto score his highest score against Kent in the last fixture of the round-robin stages. Finch has scored almost 450 runs and has been the most dependable player in the batting lineup.
Moises Henriques is another top quality player who can contribute with bat and ball. Ben Foakes and Sam Curran are players who can certainly do well in a big game.
Rikki Clarke, Jade Dernbach and Sam Curran have done as frontline seamers while Gareth Batty has done well with his off-spin.
The Bears have done well despite being a young side this time around. The batting lineup has Pollock, Hose, Hain and Dominic Sibley who have been in decent form this season. New Zealand’s Colin De Grandhomme and Grant Elliott provide depth in terms of batting and bowling.
Jeetan Patel has been standout bowler for the side with 19 wickets to his name in the competition. He has gone for just seven runs an over with the support from Boyd Rankin, Oliver Hannon Dalby and Grant Elliott. James Posyden has also done in the last couple of matches for Bears.
