Venue: University Oval, Dunedin
Pitch & Conditions:
The wicket here generally tends to be on the slower side & recent Ford trophy games were no different.
Forecast suggests, chances of a full 20 over game are bleak. Overs can be reduced or match can even be abandoned if weather remains the same.

*Leicester’s hard hitting bowling allrounder Ben Raine will debut for Volts & can be used as a pinch hitter.

*Ajaz Patel will replace Murray in the final eleven.
My Dream11 Team:
Batsmen: Rutherford, Bruce, Young
Allrounders: Worker, Kitchen, Raine/Rippon
(Both Raine & Rippon are expected to bowl full 4 overs but Raine usually bowls in death & can be more useful with bat in T20’s)
Bowlers: Rance, Duffy, Tickner/Wheeler, Ajaz
Worker, Kitchen combination should be the best for small leagues considering both are expected to bowl as well on a slowish wicket.
Also, Raine can be a good choice along with Young, who usually bats a bit slow but plays well in such conditions.
