Section 7: Finding the fantasy value

Kane Williamson: The new skipper of SRH is yet to be dismissed in IPL 2021. We’ll have to look at what combination SRH go with, if Holder comes in, and Kane bats in the top 3, he becomes a very important captaincy pick. Also has very good numbers at Kotla.

Captaincy suitability: Both small & grand leagues.

Manish Pandey: One of the safest options in this game, is batting at his favourite position and will be playing against one of his favourite side. Averages almost 50 at Delhi and has 2 fifties in four innings this season.

Has 3 consecutive fifties against RR in his last 3 innings.

Pandey vs RR in last 3 innings: 83*, 54, 61

Captaincy suitability: Both small & grand leagues.

Bairstow (chasing): Not great numbers against RR so far, but is in great form and should enjoy the tiny boundaries at Delhi.

Captaincy suitability: Both small & grand leagues.

Sanju Samson: Played two very good & mature knocks in the last two games and has good numbers against SRH, since 2018

Sanju Samson vs SRH (since IPL 2018)

Last 6 vs SRH: 36, 26, 48*, 102*, 40, 49

Captaincy suitability: Both small & grand leagues.

The numbers game:

Rashid has never been wicket less against RR. Has at least one wicket in every game.

Morris has second highest wickets in the last 5 overs this season.

Kane Williamson is the only batsman who is yet to be dismissed this season. (16*, 66*, 26*)

Bairstow has the second highest SR in poweplay and most sixes in powerplay this season.
