Section 7: Finding the fantasy value:

Mitchell Starc (bowling first): If you’re someone (like me) who is not great at picking a batsman as C or VC, then you can go with the reliable Mitchell Starc who offers you both new ball value and free wickets at the death. Also got 3 wickets in one of the intra squad games, and more importantly, his majority of his wickets are in the form of LBW/bowled, so bonus points on offer too.

Captaincy suitability: Both SL & GL

Russell & Finch: The two most obvious and popular picks in small leagues. If you’re someone who likes to play safe and simple, you can go with them, just like everyone else. Wade, opening the innings, and wicket keeping, is not a bad option either for SL.

Captaincy suitability: Both SL & GL

The Aussie allround trio: With Australia opting for just 4 proper bowlers, the remaining 4 overs (could be more if Agar goes for runs) will be divided among Christian, Henriques & Marsh. All three have scored runs in the intra squad games, and can add a lot of value to your fantasy side. Prefer at least two of the three in your side, if they bat first.

Captaincy suitability: Mini GL & GL.
