JAM vs SLK Dream11 Team, Dream11 Prediction & Dream11 Preview

CPL 2021: JAM vs SLK

Last year we saw some very low scoring games due to pitches being dead & slow. But this CPL will be a totally different ball game, like literally. ‘Smart ball’ will be used for the first time in a professional cricket tournament (was used for testing purpose in Marsh Cup) which has a chip inside (an original chip, not the 2000 Rs note chip) and will share data both after the release till pitching and also data after pitching. The smart ball will calculate speed, spin & power/bounce.

*JT can also open with Haider Ali in place of Kennar Lewis.

*Kirk McKenzie being a leftie & an emerging player will definitely feature at some point, but can also start just to have a LHB in the top order in place of Lewis/Brooks.

Section 6: Finding the fantasy value:

Andre Russell: Russell is of course a default captaincy choice in any case, but bowling first his fantasy value further increases. Also with that JT top order, he’ll face more deliveries than he usually does.

Captaincy suitability: Both small & grand leagues.

Carlos Braithwaite (bowling first): Coming after a decent Hundred season, Braithwaite bowling first is a decent captaincy choice for small leagues. And just like Russell, due to a not so good looking JT top order, he’ll get enough opportunities to bat as well.

Captaincy suitability: Both small & grand leagues.

Migael Pretorious: Highly underrated pick who hits the deck with the new ball, and is a big hitter with the bat. If the pitch behaves like it did in the first game, Migael  will be a big threat with the ball and offers a lot of value with the bat as well.

Captaincy suitability: GL only.

Obed McCoy (bowling first) : Is in a fantastic form this year, his back of the hand slower ball has been a great wicket taking option for him and can expect a very good CPL season this year.

Captaincy suitability: Mini GL & GL.
