SLK vs TKR Dream11 Team, Dream11 Preview & analysis

CPL 2021: SLK vs TKR

Last year we saw some very low scoring games due to pitches being dead & slow. But this CPL will be a totally different ball game, like literally. ‘Smart ball’ will be used for the first time in a professional cricket tournament (was used for testing purpose in Marsh Cup) which has a chip inside (an original chip, not the 2000 Rs note chip) and will share data both after the release till pitching and also data after pitching. The smart ball will calculate speed, spin & power/bounce.

Section 5: Finding the fantasy value:

Sunil Narine:Default choice in small leagues, just like the last game, can give you 0(1) but is the safest option available.

Captaincy suitability: Both small & grand leagues.

Colin Munro & Lendl Simmons: Very rarely I prefer a batsman in these conditions but there are hardly any reliable options available in this game. Munro has decent numbers against SLK, has favourable matchups against the current bowling lineup.

Simmons, just like Munro, was in good form before CPL just hasn’t scored runs in the opening two games. Expect at least one of them to have a good game today.

Captaincy suitability: Both small & grand leagues.

Kieron Pollard (batting first): Coming after a match winning knock in the last game, Pollard has good numbers against both, the opposition, and the current opposition bowling lineup. Pollard has not bowled a single delivery in the two games this season yet, but in the last two H2H games against Kings, Pollard bowled full 4 overs and infact, picked 3 wickets as well in the last game.

Captaincy suitability: Both small & grand leagues.

Faf du Plessis: Went for a first ball duck in the last game, which was his first game after a long break. Was caught down the leg side on a very good catch by Walton, but is still a very good captaincy choice in this game. Favourable matchups too.

Captaincy suitability: Both small & grand leagues.

Proper GL pick:

Darren Bravo & Dinesh Ramdin.
